Sa began instruction in ceramics at age 9, studied under Kent Glasgow in the once-extraordinary art department at Hollywood High, and then with Herb Friedman at Everyone’s Village, where she became his teaching assistant.
She currently teaches Ceramics at the American Jewish University in the Sepulveda Pass in Los Angeles.
Her work has appeared at the Original Renaissance Pleasure Faire, at the J.R.R. Tolkien-centric One Ring Celebration, the Calabasas Pumpkin Festival, the West Hollywood Craft Riot, Christopher Miller’s open studio holiday sale, and at her own popular holiday craft show.
One of her signature bas-relief box vases won Best In Show at the 2009 Los Angeles County Fair, in the Tapestry of Traditions Professional division.
